Jamie Hahn is an artist interested in photographing landscapes while walking and exploring the subtleties of nature.
Her research to record the land and the sea becomes a meditative experience revealing atmospheric tones and shifting palettes.
Working with photography as well as alternative processing in cyanotypes, her projects document details and highlight unexpected moments.
Jamie Hahn has exhibited her work in the National Gallery of the Cayman Islands Biennials, Alfred University, NY, Cite` Internationale Paris, ROCO, Rochester, NY, Eastern Washington University, WA, CICA Institute, South Korea, Spool Contemporary Art Space, NY, and Kent State University, OH.
She is also an art professor of photography and recently curated an exhibition “Still/Moving: Framing New Media” for the School of Art at Kent State University.
