t's mid-July and we have finally completed what we think is the hub gallery pop-up’s final sale for Cayman Art Week 2024.
More than 35 artworks were purchased at the pop-up and have travelled to USA and to the UK, as well as remaining here on Grand Cayman. We were delighted to represent 20+ Cayman Islands’ artists and to welcome approximately 400 visitors to our pop-up exhibitions and special events during CAW 2024. 😊
We would like to thank you ALL for attending and for supporting ART in the Cayman Islands!
Artists never stop creating and producing new artworks, so keep watching them on their social media pages online or by visiting their studios or by subscribing to their newsletters.
Please see our artists’ IG/website links on our website … and check out our exhibitors from earlier CAWs too!
As ever, please get in touch if you need any information … or would like to support/sponsor our pop-up(s) further as we hope/plan to return with another great selection of Cayman Islands’ Art in 2025.
We really enjoyed this year’s pop-up, and, like many of you, wished we could have stayed open longer so that you could visit us (again) on a quieter day to further appreciate the full range of the art works we had ready for sale.
We gained entry to the location, courtesy of Camana Bay, on Friday 17th May and worked hard to prepare and curate the space in time for opening at 10am on Wednesday 22nd May.
We closed our doors on Sunday 26th May at 5pm and were ready to leave the space by midday on Tuesday 28th May.
In between, we were open for 44 hours, presented 3 shows. hosted 2 events (as well as a bit coin global pizza party) and welcomed 400+ visitors ...
We appreciate and thank the Team at Cayman Art Week for their organisation, guidance, and support. This fantastic platform they provide for all artists and galleries in the Cayman Islands to participate in each year keeps getting bigger and better.
We'd like to thank Camana Bay for kindly offering this space to us and for their attention to our needs at all times.
